Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FlowBack ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
FlowBack is a decentralized creator payment platform that verifies YouTube and TikTok engagement metrics using Chainlink CRE (Compute Runtime Environment) and processes USDC payments on the Base network. The Platform connects to third-party services including YouTube, TikTok, and World ID to verify creator identity and content metrics.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Platform. By connecting a wallet, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account & Wallet
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. FlowBack uses Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) for authentication and never stores your private keys. You are solely responsible for all activity under your wallet address.
5. Platform Connections
When you connect your YouTube or TikTok account, you authorize FlowBack to access your public profile information and video metrics (view counts, likes, comments) for the purpose of verifying campaign eligibility and calculating payouts. You may disconnect your accounts at any time from your dashboard.
6. Payments & Campaigns
Payments are processed on-chain in USDC via smart contracts on Base Sepolia. FlowBack does not custody funds — all campaign budgets are held in the smart contract. Payout amounts are determined by verified engagement metrics and campaign rules set by brands. FlowBack is not responsible for fluctuations in token value or network fees.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: manipulate engagement metrics, use bots or automated tools to inflate views, submit fraudulent content, create multiple accounts to circumvent sybil protections, or interfere with the Platform's operation.
8. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. FlowBack operates on testnet (Base Sepolia) and is provided for demonstration and hackathon purposes. Smart contract interactions carry inherent risks.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlowBack and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
